Water Resistance

Insulation
Reflective Insulation is used in yurts as both insulation and a radiant barrier, helping to keep your yurt warmer during the cooler seasons and cooler during the warmer months.
Originally tested in space shuttle experiments, this innovative material also reduces condensation between the layers of yurt vinyl. Best of all, it provides a safe source of insulation that is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic
Additional insulation can be added on the walls and roof of your yurt to add extra comfort and increase the R-value for better thermal performance.

Snow and Wind Kit
Our Snow & Wind Kit adds extra strength and stability to your yurt, giving you peace of mind in harsher climates.
The kit features lodgepole pine poles that run from the ends of each rafter down to floor and attaching to the wall, reinforcing the structure against heavy winds and snow loads.
With the Snow & Wind Kit, your yurt is better equipped to handle the elements, keeping you safe and comfortable no matter the weather.

-
For yurt sizes up to 24 ft - the Snow & Wind Kit is available as an optional upgrade.
-
For larger yurts (28 ft and 32 ft) - the Snow & Wind Kit is included in the base price for added strength and stability.

Yurt Windows

Yurt windows can be upgraded with insulated covers to help keep out the cold and block excess sunlight, creating a more comfortable interior year-round.

Enjoy the perfect balance of comfort and connection to nature with our built-in yurt windows. Each window includes a detachable clear vinyl layer that lets in fresh air while keeping out the elements. A mesh screen protects against bugs, and the roll-up flap makes it easy to open up your space or close things off for warmth and privacy.
Yurt Window sizes include:
Standard Horizontal Window - 48" x 40"
Standard Vertical Window - 48" x 54"
Glass Windows
Expertly crafted with Douglas Fir frames, our glass windows combine natural beauty with exceptional strength. Each window is double-collared to perfectly follow the unique curve of your yurt, creating a seamless, custom fit. The result is not only a durable and well-insulated window but also a striking design feature that enhances the light, air, and charm of your yurt’s interior. Every detail reflects the care and craftsmanship that goes into making your yurt truly one-of-a-kind.

Additional Options
Chimney STove Shield
A protective shield that protects yurt walls to shield them from heat sources such as stove pipes or other hot surfaces. This barrier prevents heat damage to the yurt fabric and insulation, ensuring safety.

Centre Column Pole and Brace
Flooring Radius

Our steel centre brace and pole run from the yurt’s centre ring to the floor, providing extra support against heavy snowfall and harsh weather.
Yurts up to 24 ft, the centre brace and pole are optional
28 ft and 32 ft yurts, they are included in the base price
Perimeter pieces that line the inside edge of your yurt, sitting neatly against the skirting. They’re placed beneath the snow poles and lath wall to create a smooth, finished look. The flooring radius makes it easy to add flooring without cutting around the bottom of the wall or snow studs. This upgrade offers a cleaner fit and a seamless interior finish.
