1. Contact Us — Your Vision Starts Here

Everything begins when you reach out. Whether through email, our contact form, or a phone call, your first step is simply sharing your vision.

During this stage, consider:

  • Your intended use — think about whether the yurt will be a primary residence, guest space, studio, retreat, or rental.

  • Number of occupants — the people who will regularly use the space will help determine size and layout.

  • Preferred size and layout — general ideas for square footage and interior flow. Deciding whether you want open-concept space or room divisions helps determine the size and layout that will best suit your needs.

  • Design inspirations — colours, interior styles, or layouts that appeal to you.

  • Timeline and budget — your ideal schedule and overall project expectations.

This initial conversation helps clarify your goals and allows you to start envisioning a yurt that fits your needs and lifestyle.

2. We Help You Choose the Perfect Size & Features

With your goals in mind, you can explore all available options to design a yurt that fits your lifestyle and environment.

What to expect when selecting features:

  • Yurt size — choosing the right diameter based on intended use

  • Insulation needs — winter, all-season, or summer-only, including floor, wall, and roof guidance

  • Snow and wind considerations — structural upgrades depending on climate, elevation, and exposure

  • Doors and windows — styles, quantity, and placement for light, views, and airflow

  • Custom colours for vinyl and wood — matching your style and environment

Permitting

Permitting varies by location. This step helps you understand what to look for and questions to ask as you move forward. Securing permits is the responsibility of the client.

3. Finalizing Your Quote & Placing Your Order

Once your design is finalized, we prepare a clear, detailed quote for your review. This step includes:

  • Confirming every option you’ve selected — we go through your choices together to ensure everything is exactly as you want it before moving forward.

  • Reviewing timelines and delivery expectations — we outline estimated production and delivery windows so you know what to expect.

  • Making any adjustments you request — if you want to change a feature, add an upgrade, or modify sizing or colours, this is the time to fine-tune the details.

  • Answering any final questions — we make sure you feel confident, informed, and comfortable before placing your order.

When you’re ready to move forward, a deposit secures your order and officially places your yurt into our production schedule. At that point, we provide you with the approximate production timeline for completion.

Please note that production times can shift due to material availability, seasonal demands, and other external factors. We keep you updated throughout the process so you always know where things stand.
